Spring Fashion Travel Trends to Transform Your Packing Style ~ courtesy of Travel Insured

Packing is always a difficult task to conquer before you head out of town. Even when you’re good at it, you have to alter the formula based on season, activity list, and number of days. That’s why any tips that can help us get the job done faster and more efficiently are good tips. Focusing on transition season fashion trends is a great place to start. Check out a few ways spring fashion trends will help you pack.

Light outerwear

Since temperatures are starting to come back up, your outerwear doesn’t need to be as heavy. This gives you the chance to add one or two pieces to your packing list that compliment your daily outfits. They can be neutral to keep things simple, or you can use them as a color pop addition to any ensemble.

Bright colors

Spring always inspires a brighter color palette. This goes for clothing, shoes, accessories… even hair! Many of us shy away from bright colors Have fun packing your suitcase and don’t be afraid to go bold with your colors. If ever there was a time, this is it.

Plain Tank Tops and T-Shirts

Springtime is great because we get bursts of days that tease us with nice warm sunny days. This prompts us to want to pack a few things that might accommodate days that fare on the warmer side. Neutral or basic tank tops and t-shirts are great options to throw in your suitcase, and they don’t take up much space. They’re also really versatile and can be worn under the aforementioned ‘light outerwear’.

Setting the Toes Free

This one is a bit more subjective – there are tons of people who hate to have their feet exposed. But, if you are someone that’s itching to breakout your sandals every year, this is the time. Bringing a pair of neutral sandals or open toed shoes gives you the option to dress for those warmer days. Often times these shoes are much smaller than winter shoes, so they won’t take up too much room.

Dresses

Dresses are always an option as long as you have the right accessories to go with them. What’s great about spring dresses is the lightweight nature of the material. They are a fun transition from neutral sweater dresses to bright flowing sun dresses. If you’re still worried about being a bit cold you can pack a light pair of tights to bring along with you!

Packing for vacation is ever changing. Using transition seasons, like fall and spring, to help inspire your packing list will help you find great additions.
