Celebrity Millennium Ignites Renewed Hope for Saint Lucia’s Cruise Sector
Celebrity Millennium officially berthed in Saint Lucia on June 29, bringing over 400 fully vaccinated adults and 10 minors. Port Castries by Government and Tourism Officials greeted the guests and there was a cultural mini carnival with a vibrant masquerade and steel pan music. They also received gifts of branded items and return accommodation packages. Commemorative plaques were exchanged In recognition of the reintroduction of service. Duty-free stores, vendors, taxi drivers, tour guides and several cruise dependent income earners were back on the job on Tuesday.
